1. What is Inda-MP?
At the CPhI Worldwide trade show we had interesting contacts and valuable meetings. During these conversations, we noticed some similar questions. Inda-MP is a contraction of Indaver and Metal Processing / Precious Metals. It’s a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to recover precious metals like Palladium, Rhodium, Platinum or Ruthenium from liquids. Inda-MP is located in Antwerp, Belgium and is part of the Indaver group, a leading European service provider in sustainable waste management.
2. How does the Inda-MP recycling process work?
Inda-MP recycles precious metals from liquids. A large part of these liquids originate from reactions based on homogeneous precious metal catalysts, used in pharmaceutical and chemical industry. After the production process the catalysts end up in the liquid waste. These liquids containing precious metals are collected at the Inda-MP facility. During the recycling process the precious metals are recovered with very high efficiency while hazardous components are safely destroyed. Valuable solvents can be further purified and reused. Inda-MP offers economic solutions starting from a few ppm of precious metals.
4. How do pharmaceutical companies benefit from Inda-MP?
Precious metals are rare and expensive resources with a large carbon footprint. Recovery of precious metals from liquid phases by Inda-MP leads to significant financial and environmental benefits while it avoids precious metal supply risks too.

5. How do you manage your supply chain?
Inda-MP offers a one-stop solution, from logistics of the liquid phases and management of the Transfrontier Shipment of Waste (TFS) documents until delivery of the refined precious metals. We have implemented several successful cases for pharmaceutical and chemical customers in different European countries. One of these customers is Pfizer Ringaskiddey in Ireland.
Inda-MP is part of the Indaver group a European waste management company and partner in the circular economy, managing 5 million tonnes of waste per year. The Inda-MP facility is located at the Indaver Antwerp site in the port of Antwerp, Belgium. The port has excellent connectivity with overseas destinations. Inda-MP can count on Indaver’s strong supply chain team and own TFS department. Indaver's good reputation with the involved authorities is a further advantage.
